Sheer Make-Up Fix Review

Nip + Fab. I believe that they key to a flawless face lies with the first 3 products you put on your face before makeup: 1. Face Wash. 2. Moisturiser. 3 The Primer. I have tried many primers from local drugstores to a top designers brand and so far I have not found one that has worked wonders for my skin. My skin type varies, some days its really dry and others its slightly oily on my forehead. So when I received my Nip+Fab Sheer Make-Up  Complexion Perfector I couldn't wait to give it a try. I have heard amazing things about the Nip + Fab products and there is not a magazine that I have read lately that hasn't featured one of their products. "This multi-tasking wonder gel instantly evens out skin tone and texture while diminishing the appearance of fine lines and imperfections. A unique clear formula for a natural and healthy looking glow without make-up". It contains: Osilift (reduces the appearance of wrinkles). Hyaluronic Acid (hydrates and smoothes the appearance of fine lines). Oat (softens and moisturises the skin). To use apply to a cleansed face and neck. Wear alone for a natural and even look or under makeup as a smoothing primer. I personally cannot live without my foundation so I have opted to use this as a primer. It comes in a 40ml tube and is a cloudy/clear ish gel which has a hint of citrus in the scent. Nothing over powering though. Its really thin and a little goes a long way. Its not sticky nor heavy. I would say leave it for about 5 minutes before applying your foundation though just so it has enough time to be absorbed into the skin. My skin feels and looks smooth and has a natural glow even with all of the makeup that I have piled on.

Lush Gorilla Perfumes

My new obsession... Lush Gorilla perfumes! I never liked the scents made by Lush's discontinued sister brand B never too busy to be beautiful so I am quite surprised by how much I like these! I find the spray perfumes last 1-3 hours and the solid perfumes to last less than an hour at best, even when layered under the spray version. This doesn't bother me at all as I enjoy applying them and I use them more as aromatherapy / pick-me-ups than as perfume. Don't be scared of the color in the solid sticks.. once blended it disappears! Tuca Tuca - A little bit like parma violets mixed with vanilla. Very soft, powdery and girly. Not really my normally style. I'm not sure why I bought it but it is quite nice. Orange Blossom - This really smells just like the real thing. Lovely! Lust - A jasmine heavy scent. My favourite of the bunch as it is quite literally Flying Fox shower gel in a perfume! My friend Sammie actually discovered is and we have both been obsessed with the solid stick ever since.

For those of you who don't know, Jasmine is incredibly good for relieving symptoms of pms. It's also great for depression. Breath Of God - Herbal and cool with a real salty kick to it. This is a real summery, by-the-beach smell. Not for everyone... in fact I can imagine most people hating it. If you like aquatic scents you may like this. Vanillary - Not at all as sickly sweet as the name would suggest. It's lovely! This smells like softly sweet, milky, tonka bean. Like most Lush products marketed as vanilla scented there is a little something musty about it. I have quite a few (as you can see) but there are two clear winners which live in my handbag and get the most use. Lust & Orange Blossom in the solid form. I've bought them for my mum and sister and they love them too! I'm still using Flying Fox shower gel and now I can get my jasmine kick at any time with Lust! Have you tried any of Lush's Gorilla perfumes? What do you think?
